1932 Ford Highboy Roadster
This custom-built 1932 Ford roadster was completed approximately two decades ago, featuring a steel Deuce body set atop a reworked TCI chassis. It’s driven by a 296ci flathead V8 fitted with Ardun overhead-valve hemispherical heads and triple Stromberg 97 carburetors. Power is routed through a 1939 Ford gearbox outfitted with Zephyr gearsets and a Frankland quick-change rear differential. The suspension setup includes a dropped front axle with chrome radius rods by Pete and Jake’s, a traditional buggy-style rear, and Ford Houdaille hydraulic shocks. Staggered steel wheels and hydraulic drum brakes—highlighted by finned Buick drums up front—complete the underpinnings. The cabin features black-upholstered bench seating, classic Stewart-Warner gauges, and a period-style banjo steering wheel.
