This 1941 Willys coupe, built in a striking gasser-style, merges vintage drag-racing aesthetics with high-performance engineering. Constructed on a Dennis Taylor Reproductions fiberglass body and a custom chassis, the five-year build, completed in 2014, features a supercharged 392ci Chrysler Hemi V8. Equipped with a polished BDS 8-71 Roots-style blower, Hilborn mechanical fuel injection, a Weiand intake manifold, and long-tube headers with manual cut-outs, the engine delivers a commanding presence on both street and strip. Power is managed by a four-speed manual transmission.

The exterior is finished in vibrant blue with blue and white graphics, gold-leaf-style "Impostor" lettering, and a hood cutout showcasing the induction system. Details include dual side mirrors, full-length side moldings, and a chrome Americar-branded rear bumper with overriders. Chrome 15″ Sprint-style wheels are paired with BFGoodrich Touring T/A front tires and Hoosier Pro Street rear tires, completing the aggressive stance. The suspension consists of a drop axle with parallel leaf springs up front and a four-link rear setup with adjustable coilovers, supported by panhard and sway bars. Sprung wheelie bars and four-wheel disc brakes with a driveshaft-mounted pinion disc provide added safety and stability.

The interior, trimmed in black pleated vinyl, features bucket seats, a roll bar, Simpson four-point harnesses, and a Hurst floor shifter.
