This is one of the rare performance oriented variants of the much-loved Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider, better known as the Spider Veloce. Veloce in Italian means fast, making the Spider Veloce's purpose easy to determine. Fitted with an uprated version of the famous 1,3 litre Alfa Romeo twin cam engine breathing through a couple of Weber 40 DCOE carbs, the Veloce produced 90 hp. The Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce was in production until 1963 and in total only 2796 examples were made.
