1965 Porsche 911 2.0
According to the Porsche data card, this 911 2.0 Coupé was produced just before the factory holidays in 1965, making it one of the highly sought-after early "Ur-models" of the legendary Porsche 911. Originally delivered to Ohio, USA, this car features numerous rare early details in its body, interior (such as perforated seats and steering wheel), and trim components, making it a truly exceptional find.
A few years ago, the car underwent a meticulous partial restoration. Its untouched original body was carefully repainted in the original delivery color, "ruby red," following a full bare-metal preparation. The interior remains largely original, with only the carpets and headliner replaced, while the original upholstery was beautifully refurbished.
Mechanically, the vehicle has been thoroughly refreshed using original parts. All wearing components were either overhauled or replaced, and the original engine received a complete rebuild with new pistons and more. The gearbox also retains its matching-numbers authenticity, complementing the fully overhauled drivetrain.
This outstanding 911 2.0 Coupé is a rare and beautifully preserved example, combining early production history with exceptional attention to detail and originality.
