1966 Volkswagen 21 Window Custom
This 1966 Custom 21-Window Volkswagon bus has been completely re-imagined with American muscle style. Over 2,000 man hours in the build and countless dollars have been spent making this show piece stand out the way it does today. With a Cadillac 509ci V8 and automatic transmission. Widened 6 inches to fit the big block and route all the cooling systems. Custom torsion bar front end, dual radiators alongside the 509ci V8 in the rear. Customizations and upgrades include disc brakes, an Eldorado rear end, custom dual exhaust ports, aircraft-style dual air scoops and full custom frame with 2x4 steel rails. Porsche 914 seats were recently reupholstered; the dash is full of custom gauges, wood-grain matching steering wheel, custom heater and defrost with its own radiator. The bus rear was widened 6 inches in order to fit the engine, transmission and cooling systems. It is not everyday that you see a rate 21 Window Bus but never have you seen such a rare car with so many custom touches. There was nothing left untouched during this extensive restoration.
