The car underwent a comprehensive, multi-year rotisserie refurbishment that included stripping the body down for a beautiful Glasurit repaint in its factory-correct Polo Red, overhauling the brakes and lowered suspension with Koni hardware, and renewing the complete interior with Recaro sport seats wrapped in black leatherette and classic Pepita cloth inserts. Under the decklid, the rebuilt 2.0-liter Type 901 flat-six engine features Weber carburetors and feeds power through a fully rebuilt five-speed manual transaxle.
