Developed in homage to Ford’s GT race cars that competed in the FIA World Endurance Championship and IMSA, the GT Mk II was engineered exclusively for track use—liberated from the constraints of racing regulations and road legality. While it retained the carbon-fiber monocoque and much of the visual identity of the road-going Ford GT, the Mk II introduced aggressive aerodynamic enhancements, a fixed-height lower suspension, a stripped-down, track-focused cockpit, and a more potent iteration of the EcoBoost V6 engine.
