It was fitted with Hedman headers, a dual side-exit exhaust system, a Dewitts aluminum radiator, an MSD ignition system, and an ARP oil pump at that time while its four-speed transmission was overhauled with a Center Force dual-friction clutch and the rear end was fitted with 3.55:1 gears.
