This 2003 BMW Z8 is powered by a 4.9-liter V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission. Designed by Henrik Fisker with inspiration from the BMW 507, the Z8's aluminum body panels are mounted over an aluminum spaceframe. There is some delamination at the top right corner of the windshield, and the trim around the rear soft top window is lifting. The steering rack was replaced in 2016, and power steering lines were replaced in 2021.

The cabin features black Nappa leather upholstery on the seats, dashboard, center console, and door panels. It comes with a six-disc CD changer, Harman Kardon sound system, leather-wrapped roll hoops, air conditioning, and cruise control. The banjo-spoke steering wheel has silver trim and a leather-wrapped rim. The 4.9-liter S62 V8 engine, shared with the E39 M5, produces 394 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via the six-speed manual transmission.
